Tiwa Savage has been honoured in Lagos with a music award presented by City people magazine for her remarkable contribution to the growth of the music industry in Nigeria. It would be recalled that Tiwa won her first ever award at the City people entertainment award in 2011 as the best female musician of the year. 6 years later City people are honouring her at its 1st ever Music Awards. Tiwa Savage responded to the award " @citypeoplemagz thank you so much, i don't take this for granted."
