Nigerian essayist and food memorist Yemisi Aribisala has emerged first black African to win the prestigious John Avery Award at the Andre Simon food and drink Book Awards held at the Goring Hotel. Aribisala won the award for her new book titled Longthroat memoirs : Soups sex and Nigerian Taste Buds Published by Cassava Republic.

According to the mail online " A black mother who gave birth to a million - to - one, white blue-eyed baby boy has stunned Doctors by having a second white child.
Financial analyst Catherine Howarth 35, who is of Nigerian Heritage, believed the rare recessive white gene that resulted in son Jonah, three being completely white would not strike a second time.
