Nigerian and Scottish Gospel Singer Eloho Efemuai is teaming up with UK christian charity for the hungry to create solutions for ending world hunger and poverty .
Eloho has just recently been signed as an ambassador to work with food for the hungry in raising sponsors for children in some of the worlds poorest communities.

Godwin Benson wins UK engineering award

Nigerian Systems Engineer Godwin Benson has won an engineering award given by UK's Royal Academy of Engineering for the tutoring app developed by him.
According to a BBC report " Godwin Benson designed Tuteria, a platform that links qualified tutors to students in their area and within their budget.
He developed the platform based on the experiences he had as a tutor. The engineering innovation award was launched in 2014 and rewards investors in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Mr Benson plans to use the prize money to widen Tuteria's offering "even beyond Nigeria" And to include online classes and video courses as well "

Jay-Jay Okocha on Alex Iwobi's future

Nigerian professional footballer and winger/striker for premier league club Arsenal, Alex Iwobi will stay at Arsenal even if Arsene Wenger leaves in the summer according to his uncle Jay-Jay Okocha.

Alex Iwobi came up through Arsenal's academy and broke into the first-team  late last season, but has lost his starting place in recent months.

Former Nigerian Star Okocha said his nephew is determined to fight for his place, no matter whether Wenger opts to extend his contract or leave the club this summer.

"No player is happy when he's not playing but he's still learning, he's still young, " Okocha told Omnisport" He's not playing for Wenger. He's playing for Arsenal, even though Wenger gave him the opportunity. If Wenger goes, he'll fight on ."

Nigerian Musician born in London and raised in Lagos Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti popularly known as Femi Kuti has broken the world for the longest single note held on a saxophone at the new African shrine.
Femi's sister @yenikuti took to Instagram to share this : " This evening 7th May at the New Africa Shrine, Femi Kuti broke the world record for the longest single note on a Saxophone note set in 1997 by Kenny G. The record stood at 45 mins 37 secs ... Femi did 46 mins 38 secs : Give it up, we have a world champ. This was witnessed by a large audience that included Sen Ben Murray - Bruce, the deputy high commissioners of Netherlands and the United Kingdom etc . "

Anthony Joshua to be honoured in Nigeria

The world heavy weight champion Anthony Joshua Anthony Joshua is to have a stadium and street named after him in Nigeria.
According to a ESPN report " After defeating Ukranian Wladimir Klitschko, Anthony Joshua is set to be honoured by the Ogun state government, the state where his parents hail from in Nigeria.
Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly Yinka Mafe says he will move a motion in the state legislature to have the Sagamu international stadium renamed Anthony Joshua stadium, and the popular cinema street in Sagamu renamed Anthony Joshua Street.
The cinema, from which the road takes its name, was built by his great grandfather Omo-Oba Daniel Adebambo Joshua in the 50s, and is one of the oldest of such facilities in the country."

Tiwa Savage alongside Wizkid is going to the EPIC, Tiwa and Wizkid will be performing at this years 2017 edition of made in America festival.

This years festival will be headlined by Jay-Z, J. Cole and the Chain Smokers, will take place from September 2 through 3 at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia.
The made in America Festival was formed in 2012 by Jay-Z, a rapper, record producer and business mogul. Tiwa Savage currently has a distribution arrangement with Roc Nation.
